Our Cria's
One of the best parts of being on the farm, are our baby Paco Vicuna crias! When they are born, it’s not long at all before they are up on their feet and running around. And their fleece is so soft! This picture is of our cria, Miss Lily, born August 5, 2020. We'll be breeding her this spring for the first time.
Breeding
Breeding is always an amazing experience. The males are so gentle with the females and the females seem to be somewhat affectionate with their partners. And the sounds the males make is quite entertaining! We will be breeding a lot this coming Spring, so we hope to be adding to our herd soon. The females are pregnant for about 11 to 12 months and have one cria each. And oh boy, are they cute!
