At Golden Amber Farm, we are dedicated to preserving one of nature’s rarest treasures—the Paco-Vicuña. Nestled in the heart of the Pacific Northwest wine country, our farm is home to these majestic creatures, whose luxurious fiber rivals the finest in the world.

The soft, lustrous fleece of our Paco-Vicuñas offers a sensory experience like no other. Comparable to the coveted Vicuña wool, it’s renowned for its exceptional warmth, lightness, and sheer luxury—making it a true 'Golden Fleece.' Each day, we’re inspired by their calm disposition, gentle humming, and their serene presence. These unique animals are not only a source of world-class fiber but also an integral part of our lives.

We currently have Combed Top Paco-Vicuna (by the ounce) and Raw, Unwashed Paco-Vicuna (entire fleece or by the ounce) for sell. We will have skeins of yarn and yarn on the cone available for sell soon. Our fiber micron count ranges from 13-20, averaging around 15–16-micron count. We have beautiful colors available now and are breeding to have more of the richer dark colors available as well.
